WELCOME TO THE DSRC!

A Local Source of Objective Information

Thanks for visiting! As a registered 501(c)(3) organization, the DSRC's mission is to provide accurate, objective information on Down syndrome as well as resources for families, educators, service providers, and self-advocates. Our recent efforts have focused on supplying library systems in Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia, assisting nutritional initiatives of the Down Syndrome Association of Northern Virginia, and supporting programs offered through the Special Olympics.

It All Started with a Little Girl
Inspired by one amazing little girl, the DSRC was founded in 2008, promoting the message that every child's potential is limitless. Learn more.
